| Whippets...
The most people don't know the name
whippets. Sometime they ask me: "are that greyhounds?".
Usually they look strangly when you're on the way with more of one whippet.
This is nevertheless not an exeption. Once you've got a whippet, many others
are following.
Whippets are very lovely dogs - and even if it's strange - who mostly sleep
with their boss in bed.
Since 2001 we own a whippet. A
time ago a fifth came in the house. With three of them we go to the races.
These races are not well known at West-Flanders where we live, because we
don't have a racetrack here.
In Belgium we have only (since 2008) three racetracks.
At Awans (Luik),
Beringen, St.Gillis-Waas (St.Niklaas)
and Westerlo we have races from march till november.
On these racetracks we have animalfriendly manners. Make a bet is impossible.
